Elevator cabin is a compartment that is a part of the elevator and carries passengers, cargo or both vertically and is made in various types of people carriers, porters, wheelchair carriers, car carriers and stretcher carriers. The elevator cabin is a metal chamber that is moving between the space of the rails by a steel rope (tow wire) in a vertical path.

The elevator cabin has a floor for passengers to stand on, walls to protect passengers or cargo, a ceiling, and in many cases a door, and it must stop at the level of each floor and during the entry and exit of passengers or cargo at that level. to remain.

Actually, the yoke protects the cabin like a metal frame and prevents the cabin from hitting the wall of the elevator well. The yoke has several horizontal beams and vertical columns and a safety beam.

Yoke is assembled and complete by bolts. The cabin platform is placed on the safety beam of the yoke by means of welding, bolts and nuts. Elevator safety brakes are installed under the yoke.

Generally, the body of the elevator cabin, which includes the walls, ceiling and platform or the floor, is made of steel sheets. The walls of the cabin have the role of protecting the passengers and are usually made with a thickness of 1.5 cm, and the ceiling and floor of the cabin are both made with a thickness of 2 cm.

These two parts of the elevator cabin must be mechanically strong. to be The roof should easily bear the weight of at least two people during service and repairs. The floor must also bear the weight of passengers and cargo.

The door of the elevator cabin is installed on the cabin where passengers enter and exit. This door is made semi-automatically and fully automatically in double and three-slat models in central, telescopic, etc.
